The Pentair Seal Diffuser (355030Z) is the OEM replacement seal diffuser for the Challenger High Flow, SuperFlo, and SuperMax pump families.

For the SuperFlo VS/VST and SuperMax VS variable speed pumps, this diffuser fits units manufactured before 06/17/19 only. Check the date code on your pump’s label before ordering if you have a variable speed model.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: CHALLENGER HIGH FLOW — HORSEPOWER EXCLUSION
This diffuser fits all Challenger High Flow pump models except the 5 HP configuration. Confirm your pump’s horsepower rating before ordering.

The seal diffuser sits between the impeller and the mechanical shaft seal inside the pump volute, directing water flow through the pump while maintaining the seal housing’s alignment and integrity. A cracked or worn diffuser allows water to bypass the impeller rather than being directed through the pump, resulting in reduced flow, loss of prime, and accelerated wear to the shaft seal assembly. Replacing it restores designed hydraulic performance and protects the seal from premature failure.
