The Pentair Universal Pump Lid (354531) is the OEM replacement strainer pot lid for the Pentair Dynamo above-ground pool pump. Sold individually.

The strainer pot lid seals the pump’s hair and lint trap housing, maintaining the pressure needed for the pump to prime and circulate water effectively. A cracked, warped, or missing lid allows air into the wet end, causing loss of prime, reduced flow, and potential pump damage.

When replacing the strainer pot lid, inspect the lid O-ring at the same time. A lid in good condition paired with a degraded O-ring will still leak air and cause prime loss. Replace both together to restore a proper seal and avoid a second service call.
