The Pentair 071445 is the OEM replacement seal plate O-ring for Pentair WhisperFlo WFE inground pool and spa pumps manufactured prior to June 1994. If your pump predates this cutoff, this is the correct seal plate O-ring for your unit.

This seal plate O-ring maintains the watertight seal between the pump’s seal plate and volute on pre-June 1994 WhisperFlo WFE pumps. A degraded or damaged O-ring at this location will allow water to bypass the seal area, resulting in leaks at the pump body. Replacing this O-ring restores the correct seal and prevents water loss at the pump housing.
