The Pentair Manual Air Valve (261003) is the OEM replacement manual air relief assembly for Pentair Nautilus pool and spa D.E. filter models NS24, NS36, NS48, NS60, NS72 — originally manufactured under the PacFab and Purex brands, now part of the Pentair portfolio.

This manual air relief assembly releases trapped air from the filter tank, maintaining proper water flow and filtration efficiency. A correctly functioning air relief valve allows you to purge air from the system at startup and after backwashing — keeping your D.E. filter operating at rated pressure.

When replacing the air relief valve, inspect the clamp and any associated O-rings or gaskets at the same time.
