Description
The Pentair Grid Assembly (59023400) is the OEM complete element grid assembly for the Pentair FNS Plus 48 sq. ft. D.E. filter. This is the full internal filtration core — all grids pre-assembled on the top manifold, ready for direct installation.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: THIS IS A COMPLETE KIT — NOT A SINGLE GRID
This listing includes the entire grid assembly: 7 full-size grids and 1 partial grid, pre-assembled on the manifold. You are purchasing the complete set, not an individual replacement grid.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: FNS PLUS 48 ONLY — NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FNS 48
This assembly fits the Pentair FNS Plus 48 filter exclusively. It is not compatible with the older Pentair FNS 48 model. Confirm your filter model before ordering.
The grid assembly is the filtration core of your FNS Plus D.E. filter. The fabric-coated grids serve as the substrate for diatomaceous earth powder, which captures particles as fine as 2–5 microns. When grids become torn or worn, D.E. powder bypasses the media and returns to the pool — typically visible as a white or grayish cloud in the water. Replacing the complete assembly restores full filtration performance.

Pro Tip
When replacing the grid assembly, inspect and replace the filter tank O-ring at the same time to ensure a leak-free seal on reassembly. Also confirm your filter is labeled FNS Plus — not simply FNS — before ordering. The model name is printed on the filter tank label.
