The Pentair Bulkhead Kit, 2 in. with O-Ring (190141) is the OEM replacement bulkhead fitting kit for Pentair FNS Plus vertical grid D.E. filters. This kit includes the bulkhead fitting and O-ring required to restore a watertight connection at the filter tank wall.

Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.

The bulkhead fitting seals the connection point where plumbing passes through the filter tank wall. A deteriorated or cracked bulkhead fitting or a hardened O-ring at this joint will result in water leaking at the filter tank. Replacing this kit restores the pressure-tight seal at the tank wall penetration.

When replacing the bulkhead fitting, always install a freshly lubricated O-ring at the same time — a worn O-ring is the most common cause of leaks at this connection point. Use a silicone-based lubricant such as the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant to condition the O-ring before seating it. Do not use petroleum-based products, as these will degrade the O-ring and cause premature failure. Hand-tighten the bulkhead nut only — over-tightening can crack the fitting or the filter tank wall.
