Hayward Skim-Vac for SP1070 Skimmer | SP11063

Description

The Hayward Skim-Vac (SP11063) is the OEM replacement vacuum plate for the Hayward SP1070 skimmer, fitted with a 1-1/2-inch straight adapter for direct hose connection.

The Skim-Vac seats over the skimmer basket, allowing the vacuum hose to draw through the skimmer rather than the pump strainer basket. This eliminates the need to stop and restart the pump when attaching or detaching the vacuum hose, keeping circulation uninterrupted during routine vacuuming.

IMPORTANT: RUBBER GASKET NOT INCLUDED
This Skim-Vac does not include a rubber gasket. Ensure you have the correct gasket on hand before installation.

Before connecting the vacuum hose, confirm the Skim-Vac plate forms a tight seal against the skimmer throat. An imperfect seal allows air to enter the suction line and reduces vacuuming effectiveness. Inspect the gasket (sold separately) for cracks or deformation each season and replace it if the seal is inconsistent.
